13, 2018) The Shon Flanary Racing team rolled into
Tri-County Race Track in Brasstown, North Carolina and I-75 Raceway
in Sweetwater, Tennessee on May 11-12 for a pair of Brucebilt Performance
Iron-Man Modified Series showdowns. In a $1,553 to win special in
Brasstown on Friday night, Shon Flanary laid down the fifth quickest
lap during the qualifying session prior to moving up to third in
the 25-lapper to finish behind only victor Billy Workman, Jr. and
runner-up Clayton Miller. At I-75 Raceway on Saturday evening, Shon
posted the tenth fastest time during qualifying before advancing
to eighth in the $1,000 to win, 20-lap feature event. He now sits
fourth in the latest version of the Iron-Man Modified Series point

Flanary Gets First Win
of 2018 and #100 of Racing Career!!!
6, 2018) Shon Flanary, of Surgoinsville, Tennessee,
recorded his first Open Wheel Modified win of the 2018 racing season
and victory #100 of his career on Saturday evening, May 5 at the
ultra-fast Volunteer Speedway in Bulls Gap, Tennessee! Shon swept
the weekly racing program at "The Gap," as he earned Fast
Time honors during qualifying and later led all twenty circuits
of the main event from the pole position. Shon claimed the $500
paycheck by beating Jeff Hamby, Wayne James, Josh Chesney, and Scott

Shon Flanary Grabs Top Five in Last
Minute Trip to 201 Speedway!
29, 2018) Shon Flanary Racing made a last minute
decision to invade 201 Speedway in Sitka, Kentucky on Saturday evening,
April 28 for a weekly Open Wheel Modified showdown, which boasted
a $700 winner's check. Shon Flanary laid down the second fastest
lap overall during the qualifying session before scoring the victory
in heat race action. After starting the 20-lap main event from the
outside of the front row, Shon ran amongst the leaders throughout
the distance before settling for a fifth place feature showing.

Flanary Caught Up in Incident at
15, 2018) Shon Flanary and his #98 Open Wheel Modified
team were back in racing action on Saturday night, April 14 at the
renowned Cherokee Speedway in Gaffney, South Carolina. The Dirt
Cup Challenge UMP Modified Tour rolled into the "Place Your
Momma Warned You About" and a $2,000 winner's check was on
the line for the open wheel warriors. Shon timed in thirteenth quickest
during the qualifying session, but unfortunately hit a spun car
in both his heat race and the feature event. The Surgoinsville,
Tennessee ace was not around at the finish and was relegated to

18, 2018) Shon Flanary Racing rolled into Clarksville
Speedway in Clarksville, Tennessee on Saturday evening, March 17
for a $1,200 to win UMP Open Wheel Modified special. Shon Flanary
knocked down the ninth quickest time overall during the qualifying
session before placing sixth in heat race action. After rolling
off from the outside of the ninth row in the 15-lap feature event,
Shon drove past eight competitors on his way to a solid tenth place

Flanary Earns Fast Time Honors at
Bulls Gap; Claims Runner-Up!
25, 2018) Shon Flanary and his #98 team invaded
the ultra-fast Volunteer Speedway in Bulls Gap, Tennessee on Saturday
afternoon, February 24 for the annual running of the 'Frostbuster.'
The Brucebilt Performance Iron-Man Modified Series presided over
the $1,200 to win showdown for the Open Wheel warriors and Shon
started out the day by knocking down the fastest lap overall during
the time trial session. After starting the 25-lap feature event
from the pole position, Shon ran in the second spot throughout the
contest - eventually finishing an impressive runner-up behind only
victor Chase King. The Surgoinsville, Tennessee ace currently finds
himself tied for fifth in the latest version of the Iron-Man Modified

9, 2018) Shon Flanary Racing was back in Open Wheel
Modified competition tonight at VSP for a special Quad 15s program
at the Daytona Beach-area speedplant. Lining up based on points
from the first three nights, Shon Flanary rolled off from the inside
of the ninth row in his 15-lap main event. The Surgoinsville, Tennessee
ace then worked his way past six competitors during the sprint to
finish in the eleventh spot. After the race, the #98 team opted
to leave Volusia Speedway Park and will forego the remainder of
the 'DIRTcar Nationals.'
(February 8, 2018) The
third leg of the annual 'DIRTcar Nationals' greeted the star-studded
Open Wheel Modified field tonight at Volusia Speedway Park and yet
another $1,000 payday was up for grabs. Shon Flanary timed in sixth
fastest in his group during time trials before finishing fifth in
his loaded heat race and gaining a transfer spot through his B-Main.
After starting twenty-second on the grid in the 20-lap main event,
Shon was able to move up to seventeenth in the caution-free affair.
(February 7, 2018) Night
two of the 'DIRTcar Nationals' took center stage tonight at Volusia
Speedway Park in Barberville, Florida and another $1,000 winner's
check was on the line for the star-studded field of Open Wheel Modifieds.
Shon Flanary knocked down the fastest lap in his group during qualifying
prior to finishing fifth in his loaded heat race. Following a third
place effort in his B-Main, Shon drove past eight competitors during
the 20-lap feature event en route to a seventeenth place performance.
(February 6, 2018) Shon
Flanary Racing was back in the Sunshine State today for the first
round of the 'DIRTcar Nationals' for the Open Wheel Modifieds at
Volusia Speedway Park in Barberville, Florida. Shon qualified well
and ran second in heat race action at the Daytona Beach-area speedplant.
After starting the $1,000 to win feature event from the inside of
the fifth row, Shon was running eighth on lap 11 when ball joint
issues sent him pitside and relegated him to a twenty-first place
showing in the 20-lapper.

27, 2018) The 42nd Annual 'Winternationals' for
the Open Wheel Modifieds wrapped up tonight at East Bay Raceway
Park, as each and every entrant had their sights set on the $5,000
grand prize at the Gibsonton, Florida oval. Shon Flanary slipped
back a few positions in his stacked heat race and later batted hard
for the final transfer spot through the B-Main. Unfortunately, Shon
came up less than a car length short of transferring into the 75-lap
big show, which was eventually won by Mark Whitener.
(January 26, 2018) The
third round of Open Wheel Modified action at East Bay Raceway Park
in Gibsonton, Florida took place tonight and another $1,500 winner's
check was on the line. Shon Flanary laid down the quickest time
in his group during qualifying and later grabbed the third transfer
spot through his heat race. Shon then started the 30-lapper from
the inside of the seventh row and improved one position through
the race to finish in the twelfth spot.
(January 25, 2018) Night
two of the annual 'Winternationals' took center stage earlier this
evening at the track deemed as the "Clay by the Bay" and
a $1,500 top prize was up for grabs for the Open Wheel Modifieds.
Shon Flanary toured East Bay Raceway Park fourth fastest in his
group during the qualifying session prior to scoring an impressive
heat race triumph. After drawing the pole position for the 30-lap
main event, Shon made one small adjustment for the feature and fought
an ultra-tight racecar to an eleventh place outing at the Gibsonton,
(January 24, 2018) The
42nd Annual 'Winternationals' at East Bay Raceway Park started tonight
for the Open Wheel Modifieds with a $1,000 to win opener. A strong
field of 43 competitors signed into the Gibsonton, Florida oval
and Shon Flanary started the evening by posting the second quickest
time in his group during qualifying. Shon then placed third in his
inverted heat race and later rolled off from the outside of the
sixth row in the 25-lap feature event. The Surgoinsville, Tennessee
ace was then unfortunately collected in an early wreck at the 1/3-mile
bullring and was forced to retire in the twenty-fourth position.
